Position: Security Operations Supervisor
Pay: $65,000 – $75,000 per year
Base Schedule: Monday to Friday 11:00AM-7:00PM // Sunday On-Call

POSITION: Security Operations Supervisor // Full-Time
* Must have a vehicle and a clean driving record
** Must be able to also take Public Transportation for sites where no parking available.
SCHEDULE:
- Base Schedule // Monday – Friday // 11:00AM – 7:00PM
- Must have shift flexibility between 6:00AM – 10:00PM
- Paid Weekend On-Call duties as needed
- Very good Administrative skills
- No Overnight Shifts
PAY RATE:
- $65,000 – $75,000 Annually
- 40.00/hours + per week
- Salaried + Administrative Pay Rate for hours over 40.00
- Annual Bonuses
LOCATION: Boston and Surrounding Areas // preferable residency in the Mattapan, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain area which is central to all clients and home office.
TRANSPORTATION: Security Vehicle Provided for Patrol Duties // Must have clean driving record
EXPECTATIONS: Assist Security Director by overseeing operational success, training new staff, administrative duties, scheduling, monitor check in/out alerts, on-call duties as needed, flexibility in shifts to cover operational needs…Additional Duties Provided Upon Interview.
* Schedule will be adjusted due to business needs.
* Must complete the Reliability Assessment to be considered for position
Qualifications:
- Available for all shift hours as scheduled and needed
- Valid driver license and clean driving record
- Be able to pass a background check
- Able to work overtime and weekends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must have effective communications skills both verbal and written in English
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Have strong critical thinking skills as well as comparable organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting in all aspects of security officer’s duties; inspects security officer’s uniforms, dress and appearance
- Trains officers, as needed, on responsibilities and knowledge of their post assignment
- Investigate and resolve issues submitted by customers and/or clients; provide follow-up and reporting as required
- Ensure officers make timely and accurate reports using the company’s technology
- Ensure patrol vehicles are properly maintained, including the cleanliness of the interior and exterior, maintenance and all equipment is present
- Ensure officers are following company and client policies and procedures
- Schedule security officers and responds to call-offs and rescheduling of shift assignments
- Meet with client management for updates and/or job-related change order
- Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance
- Exercise judgment and uses discretion in dealing with emergencies and security violations encountered
- Enforce standards of conduct of security officers; follows up on areas of improvement
- Cover open shifts/posts when needed
- Consistently document efficiently via supervisor site visit and remote site visit reports
- Complete, track and submit training checklists and proper documentation in a timely manner
- Become familiar with payroll, scheduling and main office procedures in order to fill in for Director of Security during vacation or illness.
- Communicate any technology, logistical and/or operational concerns to the Director of Security Services.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 recommendations for reference checks
- 2+ years security supervisory/management experience and/or work equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and working knowledge of access control systems
- Intermediate/advance skills in Microsoft Office Suite and computer scheduling software
