Position: Business Development/Sales Representative
Job Description: We’re seeking a motivated hunter-style salesperson to generate new business for our janitorial and security guard services. You’ll thrive on prospecting, networking, and closing contracts with property managers, colleges/universities, healthcare, commercial offices, and nonprofits.
What You’ll Do:
- Prospect via cold calls, site visits & networking.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads.
- Develop and deliver proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations.
- Close new cleaning and security contracts.
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in facilities services, security, janitorial, or related industries (e.g., property management vendors, commercial services).
- Proven track record of closing new business in a hunter role.
- Strong cold calling, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable presenting to senior decision-makers.
- Self-starter, driven by results and independence.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $95,000
- Commission Structure:
- Cleaning Contracts: 1.75% Y1, 0.75% Y2, 0.25% Y3 (typical $100K–$2M)
- Security Contracts: 2.50% Y1, 1.25% Y2, 0.75% Y3 (typical $50K–$1M)
- Health Insurance: 50% of Blue Cross Blue Shield single coverage
- 401(k): Eligible after 1 year with 4% company match
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): Six figures+ in Year 1 depending on performance
