Chris Lykins serves as the Vice President of Operations at McGarr Service Corp, where he oversees the seamless integration and performance of our cleaning, security, and concierge divisions. Since joining the McGarr family in 2018, Chris has been a cornerstone of our leadership team, previously serving as the Director of Security and Concierge Services. In that role, he successfully translated decades of high-level security expertise into high-performing teams that set new industry benchmarks for the Greater Boston area.

A Legacy of Expertise

With a distinguished career spanning over 30 years across diverse security, safety, and law enforcement roles, Chris brings a wealth of strategic leadership to his executive position. He maintains his credentials as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) through ASIS—the gold standard for security professionals. Chris is one of only 115 professionals in the state of Massachusetts to hold this prestigious certification.

Before joining McGarr, Chris’s foundational experience included:

• Physical Security Manager for a U.S. missile defense and radar site, responsible for mitigating risks across 50 mission-essential areas.

• Diplomatic Security Specialist for the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, where he was assigned to the U.S. Ambassador’s protection detail.
